Punctuality
Preparing students for a successful adult life and further education possibilities is of key importance to the college and instilling good practice with punctuality is a vital part of this. There are expectations in everyday life that you are on time for work, meetings, appointments and social events; failure to do so can result in missed opportunities and negative consequences.
It is the parents/carers responsibility to get their child/ren into school on time on a daily basis.
The school day starts at 8:40am prompt, and we would expect students to be in school and in their zones by 8.35am ready for tutor. Any student that arrives after registration closes (without valid reason) will lose the whole morning's attendance mark and thus lower their overall attendance percentage.
Punctuality affects the overall attendance figures and will impact on valuable learning time.
